Moldavite has been a popular crystal choice for quite awhile now, probably because of its reputation. It is known for putting you on your highest timeline.. but a word of caution, it does so in a particularly abrupt fashion. I cannot understate how quickly this can happen. It wastes no time. It can be a brutal event, so it’s best to understand what you are getting into first.

If you’re looking for a new job or career, Moldavite might get you fired or shut down the company you’re working for. You will most certainly find a better job, but after Moldavite forces you to take that break you’ve been after. Depending on how emotionally prepared you are for your life to be turned upside down, the whole ordeal can be jarring.

If you know the relationship you are in isn’t going anywhere and you’re not really satisfied, Moldavite has a habit of causing a breakup. Often times it happens in a way you don’t see coming. How you react to it is up to you. If you are going through this now, I’d suggest taking the perspective of the situation into consideration, ripping out the old is making way for the new. In the moment of the event, it might not feel like this is how it is meant to be, but as time goes on, new things will come into your life that are more aligned.

The benefits of Moldavite can be enchanting. The first time you hold a Moldavite, you might feel a warm tingling sensation. The stone is not shy about making its energy known. It is an incredible spiritual activator and third eye opener. I’ve used Moldavite as a dream enhancer for many years.

One of the theories about why Moldavite is so powerful is tied to its origins. It came to earth via meteor impact around 15 million years ago when the meteor struck near Germany. Most Moldavite is found Czech Republic, although there are pieces found in Germany and Austria. It’s theorized that the impact of the strike melted the rock around it forming Moldavite – making it a variety of glass called tektite. The extraterrestrial origins of the meteor tie the energy back to the stars and many think it was sent here to help awaken humanity.

In my own experiences, Moldavite certainly changed my life around. I bought my piece in Summer of 2022 and wore it for 6 months straight before giving it a break. I ended up quitting my job not long after knowing that it was not where I was supposed to be. I had a notion about running a business I had started a few years before but never gave it enough attention. I ran with running the business as my new plan and that business with a very successful failure. I did not lose money, but it was not worth my time (in terms of money) at all. It was incredibly stressful. I did get a ton of hands on experience in running a business, so that part was worth it. As I threw in the towel on the business, I went back to corporate life and only wear the Moldavite sporadically. I do continue to put it on as it calls to me; I still have growing to do, but I prefer to do so in a slower fashion so that I can adjust to that energy more calmly over time.

I love moldavite for dream work, it usually tells me exactly what I need to know. I spent a lot of time mixing moldavite with various other crystals over the last few years to see what the blends would do. Most were fun, but iolite and moldavite do not play well together. Those two always sent me to dark places.
