Glitches in the matrix are nothing new to me – I have another story about a different glitch in the matrix story here. If the concept is new to you, it’s often when the laws of physics and time are broken. Glitches can take the form of losing an item (especially if you know exactly where it should be), ending up with duplicate items, having an item appear out of nowhere, or lost time. Glitches don’t always explain what is happening – sometimes it can be as simple as forgetting or having someone else interfere… but not always.
Late last year, I was getting ready to head to my in-laws’ house for Thanksgiving. I was looking for a specific pair of headphones and they were nowhere to be found. I looked high and low, I pulled out the dowsing rods. No luck. Finally, I gave in and bought another pair of headphones because they are a non-negotiable for me on flights (these are my favorite pair for flying and meditations).
Life goes on and now we’re in March, about 4 months later. I’m putting laundry away and generally cleaning up for the week, when I look on the shelf in the closet. Mind you, this is the middle shelf, right at eye level in a spot I go to frequently. There’s no way I would have missed seeing the headphones there. Well.. where did those come from?? I had just moved the other pair 15 minutes prior. I pull this pair out of the closet, checking the case. I then grab the newer pair and hold them up to each other. Guess I have two pairs of headphones now!
I shouldn’t be surprised, but I always am. I’m sure there is some broader explanation for why these seem to have ramped up recently. Have you experienced a glitch in the matrix recently? Let me know in the comments!
