It’s always a delight to watch people discover that they can talk to trees and that the trees talk back! I spent some time talking to a cluster of cedar trees that live in my yard recently. I watch them everyday as I work and there is one tree at the front that is most prominent. She’s proud, but I’ve heard her ache in the midst of wind storms that she’s doing her best to hold on and stay upright. She likes watching the hawks circle overhead and sensing the rabbits and mice in the yard that the hawks are after.
I decided to do a dowsing rod session on trees and what they think. As part of the video, I went outside and talked to the trees. I asked if it would be willing to touch me. She said yes, but was struggling to find me so I reached out and touched her first. She was happy to boop my nose several times following much to my own delight.
Trees are happy to exchange energy with you. If you grow your relationship with them, they can be your eyes and ears too. I had someone send me a message after this session to share how a strange person came down their driveway and it was quite unusual so her trees had let her know. The tree seemed concerned. She went back and reviewed her doorbell camera footage and discovered that it was far less nefarious than the tree was imagining – it just happened to be her uncle. The tree was not a fan of his energy, but thankfully it wasn’t anything she had to worry about. But the tree told her!!
Energy exchanges with trees are very simple – you can quite literally go hug it. Tree hugging is an excellent way to ground. It’s totally ok to feel silly doing so – I did the first time I tried this as an adult. It’s absolutely worth giving it a try – even if all you do is laugh at yourself for feeling silly, you will have managed to get a laugh and good vibe from the ordeal. If not a hug, putting your hands on trees works very well too. Sitting at its base serves to sit in the aura of the tree. Why not just have a picnic as a disguise or just for the sake of having a picnic?
I’ve got to know – what conversations have you had with trees?!
