The X-Files

You’ve probably heard of keeping a dream journal, but have you heard of keeping the x-files?

The concepts are almost the same – you write down your experiences as they happen. The difference is that the x-files are focused on things that happen to you in your waking reality. By writing them down and revisiting what’s happened to you, it’s starts to paint a picture of how magical your life truly is – even in the mundane of every day.

The running list of things I keep note of in my x-files are extensive. There are the things that are more common – such as seeing repeating numbers or having Deja Vu (which happens a LOT for me). You’ve probably seen the dowsing rod videos I share on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram – having spirit move the rods definitely falls into this category.

I often have different people tell me about a similar subject multiple times in a week and that usually amasses to some sort of message from spirit. For example, this week, I have three different people talk to me about Catherine the Great after they changed topics from completely unrelated subjects. I haven’t figured out what that message is yet, but I’m sure it’s important.

It can be silly things like the chopped sweet peppers landing in the frying pan in the shape of a four leaf clover. Maybe the sunlight hits your wall to look like a heart. Or maybe it’s your passed loved one’s favorite bird showing up at your window and you *think* it’s them, but aren’t totally convinced. Dreams certainly fall into this category, especially dreaming about someone specific!

Have you ever just instantly “clicked” with someone and had an instant friend? Maybe they are part of your soul family or maybe you’ve incarnated together in a past life.

As you start to notice the magic in every day, you’ll start to see things beyond what you would normally notice. Things happen to you that you would have otherwise brushed off. Right now I have two fairy rings in my yard made out of flowers. I normally would have written it off as weird growing patterns between trees because I only ever thought that fairy rings were made out of mushrooms. You guys let me know otherwise and I learned something new! I was sure I had fairies around here somewhere, I could just never figure out where.

I haven’t collected my own murder of crows yet, but having them bring you gifts and be around you isn’t something they do for everyone. They are smart creatures and excellent protectors. They often gravitate towards folks that are more spiritually aware than the average person – and folks that are kind, that’s important too. It can really happen for any animal though; do all the dogs hang out with you when you go new places?

If I wasn’t paying attention, I would have completely missed the few alien sightings I’ve had. I’ve seen their ships in the air, but I asked them once to show up close to home and they did. There were three in my yard and I saw them in my mind’s eye. I woke up in a cold sweat and was unable to look out the window – I knew they were there. They were kind and only showed up because I asked, but I wasn’t able to handle meeting them yet and still haven’t figure out what cause that feeling of pure fear.

The neat thing about the x-files, is that as you go back to reread what’s happened to you, you start to realize how magical life actually is. You start to trust your intuition more. Things like this are so easy to forget because we get so caught up in the day-to-day of life. You end up connecting dots you missed before. You start to realize that the wet spots on the pavement always being shaped like a small dog was actually your passed pet saying hello.

Do you keep an x-file? What sorts of experiences have you had? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. Wow, very interesting! And you have switched on a light bulb for me. Everything you said made sense to me. Yes, very busy so I think I will get this ” x-file” so I can write down my dreams and look back to reflect how and why I had the dream. Your awesome. Love your work 🥰

  2. Hi. I do keep a big x-file in my brain. I had written some of it on my website years ago. But it felt too personal to leave up. That was a long time ago, it would be easier to publish now. My Father passed away last year and recently left 2 cloud hearts from me on the same day. The first one I noticed and immediately thought, “is that from, Dad?” Then later It was still on my mind and I looked up asking for confirmation and there was another..and my Dad in my mind looking at me lovingly.

  3. What a fantastic idea! I have never thought of keeping an x-file. I notice repetitive numbers often, or patterns, but don’t understand their meaning. Perhaps if I kept a journal I could begin to connect the dots!

  4. This is such a great idea because I would never remember all the little signs. I’ve had two Damsel flies recently and masses of Magpies – I feel spirit is shouting at me – connect, connect, connect. I feel held back by fear of what I will open up. I feel very naturally spiritual, always have done but I have a gut feeling that once I open that door there is no turning back, like walking into a void of the unknown and I just need to trust them and go for it. I don’t know why it worries me so much. Interesting what you have said about the aliens, I have this deep deep fear of aliens, I’ve had it since I was a child. I tell them in my thoughts I want to be left alone and to please not visit me. I have a deep feeling that they did visit me as a child and it wasn’t maybe the nicest experience but it’s like a block is there and I can’t remember it. I would love to speak to you more about aliens and understand if they have contacted me, I feel they might have had an impact on my life in a significant way which I can’t go into detail on here. Maybe I will ask via the dosing rod questions form. Megan from England xxx
