Do Linen Sheets Make a Difference Energetically?

The short answer is yes.

In my dowsing rod sessions, I’ve gotten numerous questions over the years about whether different fabrics can raise your frequency or vibration. The rods have confirmed that they do, but with a few caveats. Humans naturally attune to the things touching your body or being close to it without realizing it – that’s part of why crystals work and why you have to be careful in picking your friends. BUT – you are perfectly capable of overcoming that with simple energy work and being aware of what’s happening. For example, polyester isn’t going to turn you into a demon and being around a toxic family member isn’t going to change you unless you allow it to. The energies we’re working with here are very subtle. Unless you’re working with energy frequently, you’re unlikely to notice a difference.

That being said, linen is known for its incredibly high frequency. I do a lot of dream work, so I’ve been curious whether changing from cotton sheets to linen sheets would make a difference in my dream space. My goodness, that was a huge shift! Full disclosure, I purchased a cotton and linen blend fabric in stead of full linen for a few reasons. For one, 100% linen sheets are expensive and for two, I wasn’t sure I’d like how they felt. I do like how they feel, but it was a change from cotton. This is the set I purchased, but I was considering this set (I’ve heard good things about quince and this is likely the best value on the market), this set, and this set.

New Linen Blend Sheets

How did my dreams change? The first few nights, the dream space was incredibly active and happy. I’ve been sleeping on these for about a month now and dreaming feels like it’s “evened out”, but at a slightly more active place than before. The linen didn’t ward off bad dreams entirely, I still have had a few nights that I ended up in weird places. We still have outside energies of people, planets, and the unseen that influence dreaming and our space.

Would I buy them again? Absolutely. In a few years, when we need new sheets again, I’ll be buying 100% linen. Next up, I’ll be testing a natural fiber mattress, as we’ve been sleeping on memory foam for a long time. I’ll keep you posted on how that goes!

Do you have linen sheets? Did you notice a difference from other fabrics?

  1. Thank you. I’ve been wondering about this for a long time. I’ve always used cotton sheets yet. I understand that linen is a higher vibration fabric. It’s so interesting that you had such a pronounced improvement in your dreams!

  2. And here I am, having JUST purchased over 3k from B&B in cotton percale because it’s cool and breathable, and I’m re-creating my room now after losing my husband last Thanksgiving.

I guess there’ll be no high-vibin’ for me at night. That being said, the B&B products ARE the real deal. Even the things I spent an arm and a kidney for have been completely enjoyed. Maybe I’ll splurge for a set of linen pillowcases ? May not be helpful. 🤦‍♀️💁‍♀️🤷‍♀️

    1. As a fellow percale lover, I will say mulberry silk is my pillow case fabric of choice. I wonder how much of a frequency difference it make…

  3. Thank you so much for this info! I have been shopping around because I am definitely in need of some new sheets and this is just the kinda info I was looking for. Sweet Dreams 💫

  4. Almost all of my fabrics are natural but I assumed that was a sensory thing, I never thought twice about energy! You’re saying linen sheets are higher frequently than cotton? Cotton percale in summer and cotton flannel in winter are the *most* comfortable.
