The Haunted Hotel

I travel to Boston-Logan international airport at least once a year or so. Often, flight times leaving me staying at the attached hotel to get enough sleep. I can say that this hotel has some energy lingering about, as I’ve experienced it every time. I just happen to be leaving when I was reminded of this experience.

I wouldn’t call it haunted in the traditional sense of seeing apparitions or having things moved or go missing. It’s more like there is so much energy that likes to show up in dreams. It felt like a cloak very similar to the hat man or shadow man. It’s a big dark (not negative, just devoid of actual light) entity. As my sleep is lightening and I’m heading towards waking up is when I notice this the most because I’m coming out of its darkness.

This sort of thing feels like an egregore that thrives off the stress of people traveling. I kept getting hits of missed airplanes, delayed flights, and uncertainty in a new location. It made my dreams weird and has every time. I don’t think I’ve ever had a happy dream while here, but they weren’t nightmare either. Next time, I’m going to remember to wear obsidian or tourmaline and maybe bring some cleansing spray.

Have you noticed weird energies in hotels before? Have you been to this hotel? What was your experience like?

  1. This is so interesting! I wonder if this kind of energy is in other airport hotels. I don’t travel much so I can’t speak of the same experience. I wonder if also bringing a piece of obsidian or even a smokey quartz and putting it under the bed to ground you would help. Selenite wand to sweep the room with to cleanse it? Room spray sounds like a great idea too.

  2. I wonder if it is Boston itself? Definitely a weird energy there that is more obvious to West Coasters.

  3. Yes! I stayed twice at The Wayside Inn in Virginia. The first time I heard a young girl crying in the hallway in the middle of the night and I assumed that it was my niece and that my sister and her husband would help my niece so I went back to sleep because I had my infant son there in my room at the time. At breakfast the next morning I asked my niece if she was crying last night and she said no. The innkeeper overheard me and said “oh that’s our ghost, she comes out in the middle of the night sometimes!”
So a few years later, after attending Monroe’s Gateway, my husband and I decided to go back to that hotel to see if we could experience the same and see if I could help the entity move on. Our room was in a different part of the hotel, and as I was laying there with my eyes closed in bed, I asked for a sign and it sounded like an arrow shot through the air, right next to my face down to the metal vent in the floor, it sounded like metal hitting metal, I was quite scared and I decided I did not need to interfere with this particular entity! That was a while ago and I think I would be able to attempt to help more if I ever go back, but no plans to yet!

  4. I stayed one night at the travel Inn in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I think October 2019. I fell asleep and woke to what sounded like a kitten crying. I see a kitten jumping around in my room and I see it jumping on the counter and then it runs into the bathroom area. At the moment, I don’t realize I’m dreaming. I love cats so I go into the bathroom to find this kitten that should not be in my hotel room. As I go into the bathroom, one of the walls disappears and I’m entering a room that is dark and smokey. Then I see the devil up on a stage, The half goat half man devil with the horns and has a human face, though. He is laughing and he’s very big. And he reaches towards me and has something in his hand he is offering me to eat. I immediately realize I gotta get out of here. I wake up. I literally jump out of bed, and I am really scared. I grabbed everything as fast as I can and run out of the room and fly to my car and drive away. And then I searched for a Starbucks so I could at least do my first morning bathroom stop and get a cup of coffee. I was so scared I couldn’t even go into the bathroom to use it when I woke up.

  5. I stayed at a haunted airbnb in capecod. I was less connected then. Something pulled on our sheets so we slept with the light on, also sounded like mice in the walls. Could have really been mice. Slept with the lights on. It was a little creepy then. I think I would be less freaked now.
